To My Neighbor

I lift you higher,
lift you out
of your body cells
stuffed with anxiety
of your past -
an evil load that smells.

I'll fill each cell
with love and joy
that makes the
angels dance.
You'll glide through earthly
filth and stench -
a spiritual trance.

From your youth filled eyes,
your hands
and feet,
a holy peace shall flow,
so you and I
be filled with grace -
let us be still
and know.

rot mit Herzblut aufgeschrieben,
tiefem Menschenleid zum Ruhm,

Lies sie still in reinem Lichte,
unbeschattet,
frei von Trieben:
Du betrittst ein Heiligtum.

Youth of the World

Oh youth of the world, arise, protest!
Must the sins of the father come down to you?
Rise, build a world community.
Black, red and white the skins may be,
and put the traditional mind to rest.
Each generation a killing crew,
with the flag in the hand of your national feeder.
Have a conscience, youth, be your own leader.
The earth is yours, so is the spade.
Absorb in you the cosmic soul.
Be a light! Too long you obeyed the shade.
Your past is sick, your future be whole.
