                          Cosmic Religion

Bring Moses and the Prophets,
David the Singer and Jesus the Christ into my fold.
Bring Buddha and Mohammed,
the Saints, the Peacelovers, the Joyful into my fold.
Bring the Sufferers for their faith,
the Spinozas, the Gandhis, the Einsteins to me!

I will build with them the holy Temple,
whose altar venerates the Lawgiver
and the Spiritual laws of His creation,
whose sermon speaks:
None shall have more until all have enough,
so the sun created to warm all is not offended
and the breath, created to breathe life, is not out.

This Temple is built for you, Youth of the world.
Let the dead bury the old creed,
and its believers, your fathers,
bury the Plutonium.
Come to my Temple and meet your family:
the Land, the Sea, the Air,
meet the Oneness and the Allness.
I have clothed them in the spiritual garment that has no seams
for it is woven by my love.

And this shall be your meditation:

I am a part of the spirit of creation,
I am a part of the law, the harmony of creation,
a part of its love and justice.
I radiate the consciousness of creation.
My purpose in life has infinite dimensions.
I am filled with gratefulness and joy.
I am cosmic conscience.
