To My Neighbor

I lift you higher,
lift you out
of your body cells
stuffed with anxiety
of your past -
an evil load that smells.

I'll fill each cell
with love and joy
that makes the
angels dance.
You'll glide through earthly
filth and stench -
a spiritual trance.

From your youth filled eyes,
your hands
and feet,
a holy peace shall flow,
so you and I
be filled with grace -
let us be still
and know.

Seelentränen sind Gedichte,
rot mit Herzblut aufgeschrieben,
tiefem Menschenleid zum Ruhm,

Lies sie still in reinem Lichte,
unbeschattet,
frei von Trieben:
Du betrittst ein Heiligtum.

Now

I fill myself with faith and love and light,
with peace and joy and power
I am who I will be today,
intuition my life's ray.

Yesterday's sorrow
longing for tomorrow
linger no more
at my mental door.

As the world I am so high and wide.
No "better than thou" narrows my space
No sword hangs at my virile side.
I am the meaning of the human race.

I am the guardian of the spirit,
life's chosen trustee,
and charged to guide you
and set you free.

I am whole and one:
Creation is done.
Now is the appointed time.
Now is the day of salvation.
