To My Neighbor

I lift you higher,
lift you out
of your body cells
stuffed with anxiety
of your past -
an evil load that smells.

I'll fill each cell
with love and joy
that makes the
angels dance.
You'll glide through earthly
filth and stench -
a spiritual trance.

From your youth filled eyes,
your hands
and feet,
a holy peace shall flow,
so you and I
be filled with grace -
let us be still
and know.

tiefem Menschenleid zum Ruhm,

Lies sie still in reinem Lichte,
unbeschattet,
frei von Trieben:
Du betrittst ein Heiligtum.

                  My Breath

Great I Am,
Your creative energy
Your cosmic life force
           breathe in me.
You made me in your image.
           I glorify you.
Your life is my life
Your love is my love
Your spirit is my truth
Your law is my law
Your breath is my soul.
          I thank you.

Give me a mind that knows your will,
So my free and knowing will
Can be a guardian of your breath.
Let me always remember
That I, like my neighbor,
          am spiritually conceived.
Share with me your healing love
As you share with me your bread.
Teach me to forgive others as you forgive me.

Shield me from the powers of darkness
So I may be a light and a testimony
To the cosmic life
That flows through me and every living soul.
