Poem of William HermannsP113 Vietnam,
We Come
And so we went, filled with sperms of delight toward the rising sun to fight. We bleached on the hilltops their yellow bones; spread the silence of stones. We were not mere soldiers, but also grooms; oh delight, those yellow wombs. We traded stockings for a living toy, fairskinned - a daddy's joy. And is there sin? There is a cross on a tent: Grace is affluent. So now we are home, and memories smile at Christmas eve awhile. Our land so proud, upright we walk; We've peace. The dead don't talk. But heathen gooks, rose with knife and gun, White skins bleach in the sun. And yellow Rachel weeps on the shore, Her children are no more. Dark forces descend with fanfare and drum, America, we come.
